On Thursday, January the 31st, the II World Conference on Climate Change and Wine was officially presented to the the Spanish media. This press conferences was attended by the President of The Wine Academy of Spain, Pancho Campo; the Director for the Climate Change Office of Catalonia; Josep Garriga; Xavier Agell from INCAVI; the Brand Manager for Southern Europe for Constellation Brands Europe, Rutger Smit; the Marketing Manager for Amorim, Carlos de Jesús and the Operations Director for Hotel Hesperia Tower, Oscar Bermejo.
Pancho Campo emphazised that they have received more than 200 registrations until 2 weeks prior to the event. It is remarkable the large number of foreign participants from over 25 countries. Also, the media representatives from more than 60 international magazines, newspapers and televisions.
A tasting of Australia´s Banrock Station wines was offered to the media that attended the event. Banrock it is owned by Constellation, and is internationally regarded as one of the most environmentally friendly wineries .
