Former Vicepresident Al Gore, recently awarded the Noble Prize and the Prince of Asturias Prize has chosen Spain as the first Spanish speaking country to develop his project against climate change known as The Climate Project.
The first Spanish Meeting of leaders and experts on climate change will take place in Seville from the 26th to the 29th of October, under the patronage of the Andalusian Government (Junta de Andalucía and its Departments of Innovation and Environment.
Gore announced that coinciding with his visit to Oviedo to receive the Prince of Asturias Prize, he will be conducting a seminar of three days for 200 leaders and speakers. This training will take place in Seville and it is directed to leaders of different countries. The candidates have been chosen through a very careful and meticulous selection process. It includes opinion leaders, scientists, politicians and celebrities.
Pancho Campo, President of The Wine Academy of Spain has been chosen as one of the invited personalities. This invitation comes as a recognition to the years of research and dedication that Pancho and the Academy have devoted to climate change. It also acknowledges the effort and commitment of Pancho Campo to creating awareness of the consequences of climate change amongst the international wine industry.
