Constellation Brands, considered as the largest and most powerful company in the wine industry has given all its support to Climate Change & Wine 2008.

Constellation Brands is the most important corporation of the wine industry with more than 300 references in its portfolio and wineries in most wine producing countries.

Through Banrock Station, one most the most enviromentally friendly wineries has agreed to support and sponsor the event on climate change and wine. The event will take place in Barcelona on February 15th and 16th of 2008.

Banrock Station is located in Murray River, Australia. The goal of the brand is to produce fine wines helping to preserve the natural environment of the region. Tony Sharley, the winery´s manager will participate in the conference in Barcelona presenting Banrock Station as an example of how the industry can produce quality wines in the most sustainable manner and helping to stop climate change.

Banrock Station and Constellation will also sponsor the Official Gala Dinner of the Barcelona meeting which will be attended by Vicepresident Al Gore as guest of honour.
